IZAK9 LIVE events and Teacher CPD Schedule 2024/25

IZAK9 Live events for pupils and CPD sessions for teachers are available free of charge to all subscribing schools.

Teachers can register for sessions via the live links in their school’s IZAK9 User Area

IZAK9 LIVE

IZAK9 Live events are facilitated via Zoom by members of the IZAK9 Maths Team. Pupils work together, using their IZAK9 cubes in their own classroom to solve problems posed live during the event. We often have between 2000 and 3000 pupils participating simultaneously in these events. They are highly engaging, rewarding and great fun,

Friday 11th October - MATHSWEEK IZAK9 LIVE for P3/4 and 2nd/3rd Class

Term 2

Tuesday 6th February 2025 - IZAK9 LIVE for P6/7 and 5th/6th Class

Thursday 8th February 2025 - IZAK9 LIVE for P3/4 and 2nd/3rd Class

Tuesday 8th April - IZAK9 LIVE for P6/7 and 5th/6th Class

Thursday 10th April - IZAK9 LIVE for P3/4 and 2nd/3rd Class

Term 3 events will be scheduled on demand

 

TEACHER CPD

Free Kickstarter CPD is normally available every Tuesday at 3.15pm during term time.

These sessions offer some guidance and support to teachers using IZAK9 cubes for the first time or those who want a quick refresh of the IZAK9 green colour coded starter tasks. 

Free Moving on CPD is available on the first Wednesday of every month during term time.

These sessions are for teachers already familiar with the IZAK9 starter tasks who wish to move on to some of the more challenging (blue colour coded) material with their pupils.

Free Digging Deeper CPD is available on the first Thursday of every month during term time.

These sessions are for teachers already familiar with many of the blue/green colour coded tasks who wish to dig deeper into more challenging problem-solving tasks and more elaborate number puzzles.
